2

The test

Small drops of allergen extracts are placed on the skin and lightly pricked. It is generally well tolerated by children.

3

Results and plan

Reactions appear within a short time. The doctor explains the results and builds a plan: avoiding triggers and treatment.

Long-term treatment

Sublingual immunotherapy: allergy drops for children.

Immunotherapy is offered at CARE Speciality Clinic as sublingual immunotherapy: allergen drops placed under the tongue, with no injections. For some children with allergies that are not well controlled by avoiding triggers and medicines, the doctor may discuss immunotherapy, which gradually builds the body's tolerance to a specific allergen over time.
